Had a great lunch at Camino real in Dickson today. The quality of food is always good at Camino, it doesn't matter what location you go to. They are our go to Mexican restaurant.
This location was no exception. Great food, great service, and great times. -

I have never been treated so rudely in my entire life at a Camino Real restaurant. I have been coming to this restaurant for 9 years. I have always had a great experience with this location until tonight specifically dealing with Audrey.
We called to place a to go order and my husband ordered something new he has never ordered before. I get to the restaurant, pick it up, and it was made incorrectly. I called to let them know it was made incorrectly and I was told it would be corrected and I was on my way back to the restaurant to pick up the replacement.
I called back once more before I arrived to verify it was made correctly. The person who answered, named Audrey, told me rudely I would have to bring the food made incorrectly back to the restaurant. I was already two minutes away and told her I did not have it with me. She said "Too bad. If you want the new food you will have to bring the old food back."
I called my husband and he brought the food up to the restaurant while I waited for the new food to be made. I spoke with Carlos, a manager who has been dealing with us for all these years, and he made sure everything was resolved. I elaborated on how rude Audrey was to me and how she also answered the phone when I was in mid conversation with her at the counter.
We will sadly never come to this restaurant again. -

Love this place- consistently great service, amazing food, great drinks, etc. They are always busy, but we've never had to wait more than 2 or 3 minutes for a table. The portion sizes are also quite large, which most people consider a pro. I always have leftovers, so the price seems to be well worth the portions.

I've never frequented any restaurant more than this one! We've celebrated birthday, babies, weddings and grieved after funerals here. They are amazing at setting up for large parties quickly! Their menu is full and the staff are wonderful. Every negative encounter I have had has been when a new waiter/waitress were obviously training. So I give them all of the passes!
